Beautiful Mid Century standing ashtray made of marble bronze and bamboo
About the Item
Very rare, beautiful mid-century modern standing ashtray.
The ashtray has a round marble base. The cup/bowl is made of solid bronze.
The cigarette holder on top is made of brass. The rod is made of brass and a real bamboo tube.
The design is attributed to Walter Bosse. Made in Germany.
Very few signs of wear with a beautiful patina. Very good vintage condition.
No ash residue. No bumps or dents on the cup.
The heavy marble base with great grain has no chips or cracks.
Slight abrasions over the last 70 years.
The original felt pad is still under the base.
Definitely handmade.
Very decorative. Suitable for all living areas.
