About the Item
Beautiful lot of 3 glazed west germany vases, minimalist and stylistic design, the vase shape was designed by Heinz Siery for Scheurich, collector's items from the 1950s, numbered 271-22 at the bottom.
These set of three are a nice addition to or a start of a collection of these types of vases, you see the most successful vase models come in dozens of glaze finishes (decors). Heinz Siery designed vase model 271-22 in 1959 and it followed the fashion for decades so there are a vast number of different designs of this vase for people to collect.
West-Germany was actually a collective name for ceramics that came on the market roughly between 1950 and 1990. Some well-known names are Roth, Carstens, Ruscha, Jopeko, Jasba, Fohr, but the biggest were perhaps Scheurich and Bay.
This trio of vases are in very good vintage condition, without cracks, breaks or chips, no defects, check the photos for more details!
