A Late 19th Century Gilt Bronze Mounted Samson Porcelain Oriental Decorative Vase The blue vase hand painted with four floral and interior scenes, the top and bottom decorated with a band of flowers and foliage, the top headed by a foo dog and four similar landscape scenes, sitting on a bronze base. The firm of Samson et Cie, was founded in Paris in 1845 by Edme Samson (1810-91) originally specializing in the production of good quality copies of porcelain pieces in museums and renowned private collections, especially of oriental taste.
