French ceramic red and golden vase by Georges Pelletier, Signed, 1970s. The ceramic proposed here has an attractive design in deep shades of gold and red. Handmade, it is glazed with a glossy crackle finish. The piece is signed on the backside. It is in a good condition, some scratches are present and visible on the pictures. On the last picture, you can see our other vases from Georges Pelletier. --- Born in Belgium in 1938, Georges Pelletier is famous ceramist installed in France. During his apprenticeship period, while he's only 16 years old, he joined the Poteries d'Accolay. He created his workshop in Paris in 1961 and collaborates with the company "Maison Bobois" : his ceramics lamps are proposed in the famous french brand catalogue. Now established in Cannes, he creates ceramic lamps, sculptures and decorative objects. Numerous exhibitions are devoted to his work in New York, Los Angeles, Ibiza, Gstaad or Atlanta.
