Pair of French Mid-19th Century Patinated Bronze & Ormolu Neoclassical St. Urns

About the Item

A handsome pair of French mid 19th century patinated bronze and ormolu neo-classical st. urns. The urns are raised by square pediments with a patinated base below a Coeur de Rai designed band. On the front of the base is an ormolu berried laurel wreath tied with a bow all below the mottled capital. Above is the baluster shaped urn with a circular laurel band socle. The bottom of the urns have fanciful and richly chased leaves with 'C' scrolled handles. The top of the urn has an elegant scalloped shaped ormolu rim.
