19th Century Victorian Neo-Classical Marble Urn & Cover, circa 1850

About the Item

Antique mid-19th century Victorian Neo-Classical large and impressive marble urn with cover. The body decorated in high relief with large floral motif band, centred with a floral roset, the sides with carved faces with pertruding scroll handles, standing on a square base, the body decorated with large acanthus leaves, the lid with pine-cone knop. This superb urn adds elegance and sophistication to any interior, working well in a traditional, midcentury or even modern setting and oozes timeless quality. CONDITION In Great Condition - No Damage. Size Height: 152cm Width: 79cm Depth: 66cm.
