About the Item

A very impressive, beautifully painted Sevres style porcelain garniture, having a pair of lidded urns on either side of a large comport, with gilded ormolu monopodia handles, the painted scenes depicting classical reclining female figures with cherubs in attendance. Signed; A. Chapuis
