Original terracotta sculpture representing the characters of the famous novel Paul et Virginie by Jacques-Henri Bernardin de Saint-Pierre Paul et Virginie which powerfully describes the feelings of love and the nostalgia of paradise lost. The author inspired by his disappointed love with Françoise Robin beyond the exotic setting and the description of an idyllic society, Bernardin de Saint-Pierre there exposes a pessimistic vision of existence.
