A very impressive classical 19th century bronze statue of god like semi-nude figures reaching for the sky, with a hound at their feet. Mounted on an impressive rouge marble pedestal with ormolu mounts. A plaque reading; PRESQUE AUX PORTES DU JOUR TROUBLE HORS DE LUI MEME ILS ARRETE, IL SE TOURNE IL REVOIT CE QUIL A IME CEN EST FAIT UN COUP D'OEIL A DETRUIT SON BONHEUR Almost at the doors of the day disorder out of himself they stop them, it rotates it reveals what is done at a glance destroy happiness by Virgil Signed; 'P.
