19th Century French Ceramic Barbotine Wall Platter with Apples Signed Longchamp

About the Item

Decorate a kitchen wall with this colorful, antique Majolica plate! Sculpted in France, circa 1880, the large platter is round in shape, and features hand painted motifs with three red and yellow apples hanging from a tree branch covered with green leaves, and pink flowers on the side. The sculpted additions are in high relief, and painted in a soft, pastel palette. This ceramic piece is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorns rich colors on a light blue and brown background. Stamped Longchamp on the underside for further authentication. Hook in the back for easy installation. Measures: 12.75" diameter.
