Pair Meissen Porcelain Pug Dog Figures With Pup After J.J.Kaendler

A beautiful pair of heavy Meissen porcelain figures of Pug Dogs with gilt bell collars on blue ribbons.The larger Pug with attached pup. Exquisitely hand-painted with realistic tones and colors. Each Pug is wearing a vibrant blue color ribbon collar with 24k gilt bells. The larger pug with pup beneath. Found underneath the larger pug are the Meissen blue crossed swords mark with incised marks 315. The smaller with faint blue mark. Dimensions: Larger - 6 1/2" L, 4 1/2" W and 7 1/8" H Smaller - 5 1/4" L, 2 3/4" D and 5 1/4" H Condition: One of the bells on larger Pug possibly replaced, no chips, no cracks or crazing and presenting exceptionally well.
