About the Item
Rhinestone Turtle Concierge Brass Service Bell. A very unusual and rare mid-20th century Toledo gilt tortoise bell, covered in sparkling paste diamonds. Manufactured by BOJ of Eibar, Spain. This mid-20th century piece, gilded metal head, tail and legs, the turtle's shell is encrusted with prong set rhinestones. There is a winding mechanism for bell on the underside of the Turtle. And with a touch of the head or the tail, the bell will ring. The weight is 1 lb 2 oz. ( .51kg)
