Organic Post Modern Surrealist Ceramic Sculpture
About the Item
Great Organic Studio sculpture with post modern and brutalist appeal. This piece has a unique great design and is unmarked, unsigned but believed to be early 1970s. The culmination of a variety of techniques and styles make this piece an art piece to decode. Surreal details such as sculptural foot marks, sculptural anemones and protrusions are combined with earthen tone schemes in the front and deep ash glaze on its smooth back. With its surreal dark beauty and minimalist aesthetic, this piece is almost an apocalyptic study in minimalism.
