Rare triple fox-hunting-themed silver photo frame
About the Item
Rather rare and excellent quality cast and pierced triple silver photo frame of hunting interest. This fine antique silver photo frame is lavishly decorated with foliage and floral embellishments and features familiar hunting related cues such as riders on horseback, whips, hunting horns, a horseshoe and saddle. The top of the frame is surmounted with a silver fox head and the base includes a plain scroll edge cartouche which is suitable for engraving.
Fitted to a new navy leather back and easle, the landscape apertures of the frame will hold photographs 70mm x 80mm (2¾" x 3¼"), 70mm x 110mm (2¾" x 4¼") and a domed shape opening that is 145mm (5¾") wide
