Murano Millefiori Flowers Italian Art Glass Mushroom Toadstool Paperweight
About the Item
Beautiful and very unusual, vintage Murano hand blown multicolor millefiori flowers Italian art glass mushroom / toadstool sculptural paperweight. The mushroom is created in the manner of the Avem company. The top is filled with a multitude of different flower mosaic pieces, in a rainbow of colors and designs. It has red, green, white, yellow, dark and light blue, orange and black colors. Has been sculpted in a very realistic way, with the stem and foot filled with dots and swirls of color. Would make a great display piece on any desk, coffee table or curio cabinet. Use it as a paperweight, or display it as a sculpture. Mid-century era. Measurements: 4" tall x 3 3/4" wide on the top mushroom cap.
