Restored Art Deco Table Clock, Made by UP Závody, Mahogany, Czech, 1920s

A table striking clock in an elegant Art Deco style from the 1920s, crafted in Czechoslovakia as a bespoke piece for UP Závody. The clock’s structure is made of spruce solid wood veneered with thuja and mahogany, ensuring a perfect aesthetic match with the luxurious secretary from the same collection. The clock has been expertly restored with a focus on reviving its original polish and preserving its authentic appearance. The clock mechanism, including the striking function, is original and fully operational, adding both aesthetic and historical value. This unique piece is not only a stylish accessory but also a valuable artifact from the interwar period. Made by UP Zavody, a well-known Czechoslovakian furniture manufacturer and dealer based in Brno. It has been re-polished with polyutherane piano lacquer by our professional refurbishing team in Czechia according to the original process. Our professional refurbishing team in Czechia has fully restored it according to the original process. This item features classic Art Deco elements. Art Deco is a style that originated in France in the early 20th century. Its furniture designs are meticulously crafted, usually using exotic woods.
