A fine Mid-Century Modern desk clock. A detailed world clock originally manufactured by Hampton Haddon and retialed by Relide . With a quartz movement and a rotating outer timezone dial. The front face canted for viewing, the outer bezel with milled edges that rotate to adjust to the desired timezone. Together with its original box and instruction manuals. Engraved to the front in block script "The time for excellence". Simply a terrific functional artifact of the Mid-Century Modern era! Date: Mid-20th Century Overall Condition: It is in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition. Condition Details: The brass cover for the quartz movement has splits to two corners. Otherwise, there are some fine & light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age. Maker: Retailed by Relide. Manufactured by Hampton Haddon. Marks: Marked to the bottom Swiss / 1165 and to the clock face for 'Relide'. Measurements: Diameter: ca. 4 3/8 in. Height: ca. 1 3/4 in. Items purchased from this dealer must delight you.
