Empire pendulum clock Depicting Virgil,an ancient Roman poet of the Augustan period.He has been traditionally ranked as one of Rome's greatest poets. His Aeneid is also considered a national epic of ancient Rome, a title held since composition.The base of the clock is made of malachite, the sculpture sitting on it depicts the poet with text Les Geòrgiques L'eneide. At the foot of his feet refer to his work books and on the side there is a harp The clock is in a excellent and perfect working condition. Also it has recently been cleaned and serviced by a professional clock maker.
