French Inlaid Marquetry Rosewood Mantle Clock, 1820
About the Item
A beautifully made, French, inlaid rosewood mantel clock from 1820, with 8 day striking movement and silk-suspended pendulum. Original porcelain dial mounted in brass. The marquetry features lovely stylized flowers that contrast perfectly with the simple, classic shape of the case. In good working condition, with a lovely patina.
