About the Item

A Nice Late 19th Century English Carved Nine Tube Longcase Grandfather Clock The clock with an eight day movement and chiming on nine tubes. The very elaborate designed face with Arabic Numerals enclosing a subsidiary seconds dial in the center, a small switch to the left of the number nine allows you to choose between “Strike and Silent”, the arch has two other subsidiary dials, “Chime/Silent” and “Whittington/Westminster/St. Michael”, with three weights and a pendulum.
