Pair of Antique Cast & Gilt Bronze Candle Sconces with Lion Head Decoration

About the Item

This pair of antique cast and gilt bronze candle sconces show no maker's or foundry marks, but are presumed to have originated from England and date to approximately 1890 and done in a period Victorian style. These sconces are quite detailed in their casting fearing lion heads on the tops of the mounting plates and ornate scroll work on the arms and cups.
