true pair of Continental 19th century Granite, Ormolu and Bronze candelabras

About the Item

A monumental and most impressive true pair of Continental 19th century Giallo Granite, patinated Bronze, and Ormolu candelabras. Each monumentally scaled four arm candelabra is raised by a circular column with an Ormolu plinth with reeded patterns and supported on a square Ormolu base plate. The shaft is made of Giallo Granite and accented with swaging berried floral garlands. The top capitals serve as display plateaus holding the patinated Bronze maidens dressed in flowing garments. Each beautiful maiden is holding a spiral fluted designed large scale torch with a wonderful array of blooming flowers and long blades of grass. The four arms on each candelabra have detailed blossoming flowers serving as the bobeches and circular candle cups.
