Italian Mid Century Modern Murano Sommerso Art Glass Jewelry Trinket Box

About the Item

An Italian Mid Century Modern Murano green & yellow "Sommerso" jewelry square casket trinket box attributed to Mandruzzato. The box is cased in heavy clear glass with yellow and green sommerso decoration fitted with brass fittings. The box is unsigned - circa 1970s. Measurements: height: 4.25 in. x width: 7.5 in. x depth: 4.75 in. Condition: There are no chips, nicks or cracks to the glass. Hinge is strong and solid and brass rims have some minor plate wear loss. but not much. Some light scratches as indacative to use and normal wear for an item this old.
