Late 19th Century Walnut and Hand Forged Iron Storage Box

About the Item

This unique Late 19th Century Storage Box was handcrafted from old growth walnut and hand forged iron in the late 1800's. The piece features iron bound edges, two side handles, one front handle and three original locking mechanisms. Each of the three locks have a sliding mechanism to lock and unlock the front compartment and are located at the top and each side of the front panel. There is no key available. Once the piece is unlocked, the front panel is removed to reveal two storage compartments. This Late 19th Century Walnut Storage Box with its detailed hand forged iron will add a conversation piece to all interiors. 18.5"W x 11.75"D x 11"H
