About the Item
This incredibly rare box is made in the famous austrian tramp art around 1880 to 1890, its a extraordinary richly decorated example of these boxes.
The object is rectangular in shape and has a hinged lid on top. The casket is covered all over with stepped cubic shapes so typical of tramp art. Thus, the box can be viewed from all sides. In the middle of the lid you can see a needle pad in red colour, made of fabric.
Measurements approx: height 8,66 in - 22 cm, width 12,60 in - 32 cm, depth 8,46 in - 21,5 cm
This box is an incredible rarity and would grace any interior, as it is a very richly decorated object.
