19th Century Country English Victorian Oval Metal Hat Box

About the Item

Weathered late 19th century country English hat box featuring an oval form. Crafted from metal with a golden painted finish having an aged patina. The victorian era box is topped with a metal ring pull on the top and a lockable latch on the front. Used as a prop by artist Ira Yeager (American 1938-2022) at his studio in Calistoga, CA.
