17th Century Japanese Bento Box for Cherry Blossom Viewing Party

About the Item

This is an antique Japanese bento box from Edo era which was used for cherry blossom viewing party. It is made with bamboo and painted with Japanese lacquer. Landscapes with water falls and some pine trees are carved into the surface.
