About the Item

This exceptional large ruby red glass bowl set, complete with a matching lid, plate, and spoon, is a magnificent example of mid-19th-century Bohemian glass craftsmanship. Made from deep ruby red cut crystal glass, the set is richly adorned with gilding decorations that accentuate the brilliance of the glass. The bowl is cut into multiple side panels, separated by delicate lines of gold, with a striking star-shaped cut on the underside, highlighting authenticity and fine craftsmanship The accompanying plate also features a star-shaped cut on the underside. The lid, plate, and spoon are all decorated with matching gilding, adding further refinement to this museum-quality piece. This set represents the highest standard of 19th-century Bohemian glassmaking, known for its exceptional quality and artistic innovation.
