Exceptional stained glass window by Mauméjean Glass Masters Scene from the Annunciation Small Accidents 145 x 113cm The great art of stained glass resurrected in the 19th century with several master glassmakers – Chenavard, Alaux, but above all Jules-Pierre Mauméjean who in 1867 created a high quality stained glass and mosaic workshop. His three sons, Joseph, Henri and Charles take over and expand the workshop. The Mauméjean dynasty is present in all the major exhibitions both in France and in Europe and accumulates distinctions and prizes including at the universal exhibitions. Many Mauméjean creations can be found in churches or listed civil buildings. Our stained glass is the testimony of this know-how of the craftsmen of the stained glass in a revival style of the Middle Ages.
