About the Item

An extremely decorative pair of Italian 19th century Louis XVI st. faux painted and giltwood architectural column pedestals. Each pedestal is raised by a square base with a stepped design and a beautiful hand painted faux Bréche d'Alep finish throughout. At the back is a single door below a decorative giltwood mottled border. Above is the square shelf with a mottled giltwood border. All original paint and gilt.
