About the Item
Striking cafe style wrought iron garden or patio set made by Gallo Original Iron Works Inc. out of Brooklyn, New York.
The three chairs feature shapely wrought iron frames with swivel and return round seats and pierced decorated backs. Seat cushion upholstery appears original with a tufted yellow, green and orange fabric (probably not water resistant). Matching cutwork detailing on table apron and shapely legs with original wavy glass tabletop. Great vintage midcentury modern form, circa 1960s. Similar to the works of Salterini. High quality, solid, American made.
Chairs measure 32" high x 17" wide x 21" deep. 18" seat height
Table measures 29" diameter x 29" high.
Good vintage condition. Chipping to some of the green paint, primarily at upper and lower edges of table apron, and outer edges of chair backs. The medium green paint shade appears to be a do-over with a more lime green color showing in isolated spots beneath. Chairs swivel nicely. Glass in very good condition; no breaks.
