French Art Nouveau Cast Iron Bistro Table
About the Item
This Art Nouveau period, circa 1900, marble-top cast iron bistro table will be an exciting addition to a patio or interior across a diversity of decorating tastes. The sculptural cast iron frame alludes to plants and flowers, given a durable painted finish in Paris “Metro” green, honoring the Art Nouveau designer and architect Hector Guimard. As a lovely contrast to the base, the Languedoc Red marble slab shows painterly striations of earth tones and luminous crystallization from white to gray. Foundry mark of H. Descamp, Beziers (France) is still legible in the cast iron base. Please view the detailed images to see the quality of this exceptional bistro table.
