Unusual Shaped Art Nouveau Wrought Iron Firebasket

About the Item

A most unusual and beautifully shaped late 19th century wrought iron firebasket. The cast base with rings and egg and dart detailing. Shaped legs and front bars which scrolls and balls to bases. Cast back with leaf design and firebrick. Art Nouveau, circa 1890. Measures: Width at front: 865 mm 34" Width at back: 710 mm 28" Height: 800 mm 31 ½" Depth: 420 mm 16 ½".
