About the Item

A very large pair of wrought iron firedogs. The arched feet with masks above, the safest with figures and scrollwork and finials above. English, 18th century or possibly earlier. Due to age, these firedogs have a very rustic feel and are not perfectly identical and an in-person viewing is recommended. Measures: Height: 1150 mm 45 ¼" Width: 375 mm 14 ¾" Depth: 790 mm 31 ?".
