This is an antique decorative fire back. An English, cast iron fireplace hearth backrest with Tree of Life scene, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1900.
Pleasingly cast with a pair of figures and Tree of Life motif

Charming detail to the figures and the bountiful tree foliage
Beaded detail to the fascia, the domed top and top edge adorned with small finials
