Pair of Wrought Iron Gold Spanish Church Altar Gates
About the Item
A glorious pair of large, hand forged wrought iron Church Altar Gates, Spain circa 1900. These gates would have stood at the entrance to the altar in a church, probably from Northern Spain, they are presented in their original gilt, and supplied with the original hanging brackets and fixings.
162.5cm Height, 95.5cm Width when gates are closed together as in the photographs (this allows approx 0.5- 1cm gap between the 2 ball tops)
Individually the gates measure 47.5 when attached to their side post
