About the Item

Antique vintage Millstones or Mill stone used in gristmills, for grinding wheat or other grains. They are sometimes referred to as grindstones or grinding stones. Millstones have always been a symbol of both the harvest and hospitality and make a great conversation starter. I have 4 millstones available all shown in the first five photos. They range in sizes 8" x 30" with metal a center, 10" x 30"- 12" x 30"- 12" x 28" with a metal center and 12" x 30" with a metal center. The millstones are very heavy but we can arrange shipping. If you are interested in any of the millstones I will send better photos. Its a great collection from an estate in Pound Ridge NY.
