About the Item

A beautiful hand carved stone statue of Buddha Amitabha. Seated in dhyanasana, Buddha wears a robe elegantly draped over his body and gathered around his ankles. Finely depicted face with long slender eyes and hooded eyelids casting a serene aura with downcast smile, below high arched eyebrows and above pursed upturning lips, all flanked by long pendulous ear lobes and beneath a crisp, pronounced hairline framing the forehead. Hands in Dhyana mudra symbolizing unity and connection to human spirits.
