Francois Pinet, France black and white leather Platform fetish shoes, 1930s, with towering black and white patent striped elevated platforms and 23cm, 9in heels, t-bar fronts and heel straps, embossed to the sole size 40 About the Designer: Located at rue de Paradis in Paris, François Pinet became the most fashionable of all shoemakers. Trained in the wake of Charles Frederick Worth, he established his reputation among Haute Couture customers thanks to his Bobine heel, and became the first luxury shoemaker in the world.
