Sheer Ivory Embroidered Wedding Bustier Corset w Garter Straps – 38-44C, 1950s

About the Item

A wisp of an undergarment that packs a powerful punch, this corset bridges the gap between naughty and nice. Super sheer and delicately embroidered, it reveals nearly everything when worn alone, but its structure and sturdiness conceal it all when worn under a garment. Ravishingly feminine. Ivory bustier of sheer mesh embroidered with white thread; nude elastic mesh inset panels at sides and back. Lace trim above cups and satin piping at front underwire. Eight full-length flexible bones and four detachable garter straps; double adjustable 15-hook rear closure. Unlined except fleece demi liner in cups and satin interior ribbon at waist. fabric: nylon, elastic counsels: may be hand washed in cool water alterations: replaced garter belts and mesh inset panels condition: excellent with above alterations measurements: bust: 38” unstretched on smallest adjustment – 44” fully stretched on largest adjustment underbust: 30” unstretched – 36 ½” fully stretched waist: 28” unstretched – 35 ½” fully stretched hips: 36 ½” unstretched – 41” fully stretched length: 16” from top of cup to bottom edge in front, 10 ½” in back garter belts: 6” at longest label: Perma-Lift, A Stein & Company (Chicago, New York, Los Angeles) size: tag states size 38; comparable to modern 38 - 44 C
