About Virginia Tupker Interiors
Virginia Tupker is an interior designer catering to high-end residential and commercial projects all over the world. Virginia's background as a magazine editor, covering the home markets and styling for House & Garden, Vogue and Vogue Living, for over a decade, coupled with her European upbringing, gives her a unique approach to interiors. Virginia grew up in London, right off the King’s Road in the heart of Chelsea, and so from a young age was exposed to the pulse of both fashion and design. Drawing on extremely wide-ranging inspirations, from the work of the late Renzo Mongiardino, to the Bloomsbury Group or the architect Le Corbusier or the furniture designer Jean Royère, Virginia has crafted interiors for a wide array of venues. Whether decorating a West Village penthouse, a rural carriage house in Bedford NY, a Hamptons estate, or the office headquarters for a contemporary shoe designer, Virginia likes to work closely with each client to guide their innate style, achieving striking results and creating interior spaces that serve as a portrait of their inhabitants. She is known for her passion for beautiful textiles, her sophisticated color sense and her trained editor’s eye. Virginia's first project, a brownstone in Chelsea was published in Vogue in January 2012 and she was included in Elle Décor’s “Design’s Next Generation” Issues in both 2016 and 2017. Recipient of the D&D Building's 2017 Stars of Design - "Stars on the Rise" Award. She resides in Connecticut with her family.
