An exceptional, fine and impressive pair of antique Georgian English sterling silver goblets; an addition to our range of wine and drink related silverware.
These exceptional antique George III English sterling silver goblets have a plain circular bell shaped form to a waisted pedestal onto a circular foot and square foot.
The upper rim of each body is embellished with a bright cut engraved band of floral and foliate ornamentation.
The circular feet are ornamented with bands of tooled decoration.
Each square foot is accented with a simplified pin struck border.

This fine antique George III sterling silver stirrup cup has been realistically modelled in the form of a fox's head.
The surface of this original cup is embellished with impressive chased decoration reproducing the Fine features of the fox’s snarling facial features and fur.
The underside of the fox’s jaw features a convex oval cartouche bearing the contemporary engraved motto ‘Venationi Dattr’.
The anterior of the rim is encompassed with a reed decorated border.
The interior surface of the rim bears the contemporary engraved presentation inscription ‘The gift of Rob.t Moreton Wood to Will Skelhorne, 16th Dec 1801’.

This exceptional antique George III sterling silver candle snuffers / wick trimmers have a hinged scissor action.
The anterior surface of these impressive candle wick trimmer scissors are each embellished with tooled decoration to the trifurcating stems and upper pivoting plateau.
The two angular fingerpieces are ornamented with an applied moulded border and surmount plain baluster shaped legs.
The angular, domed portion of the silver wick trimmer is further ornamented with bands of tooled decoration.
The stationary blade of each pair of scissors is embellished with a simplified leaf design in addition to a continuation of tooled decoration.
The posterior surface of each pair of trimmers is plain and unembellished.
