The pieces of this George III sterling silver three piece tea service with matching teapot stand have an oval boat shaped form onto a collet foot. The body of each piece is embellished with a band of bright cut engraved decoration in an unusual 'fluid' design. There is a band of Greek key style bright cut engraved decoration to the rim of the lid and finial of the tea pot. The foot of each piece is also encircled with a band of Greek key style bright cut engraved decoration, as is the interior surface of the tea pot stand.
