Raymond Loewy DF-2000 Rosewood Chrome Red Plastic Drawer TV Stereo Console
By Raymond Loewy
Located in Chattanooga, TN
Proudly display your turntable and receiver on this compact console. Mount your flat-screen TV above to complete your setup.
The restoration team pulled no punches on this authentic Raymond Loewy DF-2000 mini-credenza console, and the end result exceeded our expectations. We re-finished the rosewood on both front and back to accentuate the contrast between all of the diverse materials that make up this unit. As you can see, this console is fully finished in rosewood on the back and attractive from every direction. The bottom spanner was re-painted white and the cherry red, injection molded plastic drawer fronts were finally buffed and polished to a glassy shine. The top section drawer cabinet is separate from the base, and can be lifted off and screwed in place if desired. The bottom is a rosewood platform with polished chrome legs attached underneath. No need to worry about water marks and scratches with this top. The industrial strength laminate is ideal for TV and stereo components...

Pair of Art Deco Streamline Modern RCA Victor Chromcraft Advertising Chairs
By RCA Victor, Chromcraft
Located in Topeka, KS
Incredible vintage Art Deco, Streamline Modern, or Art Moderne rolling chrome and vinyl RCA Victor advertising chairs made by Chromcraft. They are in wonderful vintage condition. There is a repair to the vinyl in the front of one of the back rests. Please see photos, circa 1940s-1950s.
This pair of chairs is fabulous. Absolutely! Psssst…they have been in our private collection for about 30 years and we have had them stored safely away till now. We have finally determined we do not have a place for them. Our loss is your gain. It is thought that a small number of these RCA Victor advertising chairs were given or sold to RCA distributors, studios, and showrooms. I seem to remember them in our local record store. In the booth where you would go to privately listen to a record to see if you wanted to purchase it. I’m showing my age. And, Elvis even owned one! The chairs were made by Chromcraft in St. Louis, Missouri. This set is almost perfect
Chromcraft was originally named American Fixture and Manufacturing Company and began business in Missouri in 1908. In 1939 they began making metal furniture. Since chrome was the material of the age, they named that division Chromcraft and later incorporated it as a separate company in 1955. By 1960 needing to expand they constructed a plant in Senatobia, Mississippi. Changing hands and consolidating with other companies they remained in business until 2014. In 2015 their assets were purchased, and they once again began production. Chromcraft is best known for its fabulous midcentury dinette sets...
