A very large and wonderful exhibition poster from Masami Teraoka's work "Los Angeles Sushi Ghost Tales / Fish Woman and Artist II, 1979". The poster is from the 1980 exhibit at the Newport Harbor Art Museum which featured works by this Japanese-American artist. It is hand-signed in pencil by Teraoka in the lower right margin. Printed on thick poster paper. Will look fantastic once framed. Masami Teraoka has had over 70 solo exhibitions and he has twice been honoured by the American Academy of Arts and Letters in New York and he has also received two fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts. Stunning in all facets is the best way to describe this work by Japanese-American contemporary artist Masami Teraoka. "Tattooed Woman at Sunset Beach" is from Teraoka's Wave Series exhibited in 1984. This lithograph was printed in a limited number (although this print is not numbered) to commemorate his exhibition opening at Space Gallery in Los Angeles in 1985.
