Giovanni Korompay (Venice, 1904 - Rovereto, 1988) was an Italian painter. After being a pupil of Ettore Tito at the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice, in 1922 he joined Futurism by creating works of pure abstract rhythms (see "Rumore di locomotiva", 1922). After the war he tried, together with a few others, to reorganize the Futurist movement by organizing the "International Exhibition of Futurist Painting and Sculpture" which was held in Bologna in 1951.
