This listing is for the 15 tandem seat models. Please ignore the indication in checking out that there are only 12, you will receive 15. Also you will receive the special Knoll issued cart photographed. 32" tall, 20" wide, 21" deep with a seat height of 17" approximately. The clips on the sides add a few inches to this. Designed by the head of Knoll Design and Development in 1965, the model 1601 stacking chair by Don Albinson is an exceptionally versatile chair. Designed for additional or auxiliary seating for auditoriums, events and art galleries. Simply stack the chairs as needed to take up a small footprint. Aluminum and plastic, comfortable and practical. 12 of these are available, and within another listing are 20 that do not click together. These 12 that click together were a more limited release and were produced around 1965 only and are marked Knoll Associates rather than Knoll International as with the other regular ones we have listed.
