Lovely Meissen Figurines standing on round Rocaille grassy bases: It is a young shepherd accompanied by sheep / the man is wearing a Rococo wig; he is clad in jacket and shirt with kneebreches, stockings and buckled shoes. The woman - accompanied by sheep, too - is wearing a corselette dress with apron, a headscarf covers her head (= both figurines are of elegant appearance !). She holds a tambourine. The figurines' complex movements are modelled with greatest skill which is a proof of the superb quality of these Meissen shepherds...
