    Designer Arnold Scaasi's real last name was Isaacs. He changed his name when he moved from Canada to the U.S. in the 1950s. In 1956, he introduced his eponymous clothing line and staged his first ready-to-wear fashion show. Within two years, he won the Coty American Fashion Critics’ Award.
