Extremely beautiful art furniture. Welded steel, signed and dated on the base; It is a Unique piece from 1969. Height: 160cm. Albert Féraud (1921-2008) was a major French sculptor of the 20th century. Albert Féraud became a member of the Academie Des Beaux Arts in Paris in 1989 and held the prestigious titles of Officier de la Légion d'Honneur and Chevalier des Palmes Académiques and was awarded the Grand Prix de Rome in Sculpture in 1951. Though he worked in many mediums, his later works were formed from stainless steel, including "Galaxie" (1986), his sculpture, located in Geneva, which measures approximately 33 feet in diameter. His works have been exhibited in public spaces across Europe and his sculptures are included in the collections of many important museums, most notably the Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium and the Museum of Havre in Le Havre, France.
